The personal anecdote that became our short story collaboration City For a Dime was inspired during a smoke break by my good friend Amanda Robertson.

Unfortunately, Tod & Corie Marie's new rugmuncher, along with the extremely shitty 2008-2009 economic crisis, has forced them into closing YAC's doors. I will always remember YAC fondly for their 52 Comic Challenges, an incomplete series that inspired me greatly. The Virtual Comics link in the LH menu features several of my challenges, plus three stories I submitted before they closed up shop.

Young American Comics will be missed.

Why, oh, why am I so Goddamn awesome?
